AN Browser app

AN Browser privacy policy

This policy explains what the AN Browser app does with your data, in plain words.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the AN Browser app for Android (package com.wANBROWSER_7916172), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.

Email: info@cybsinnovations.com · Phone: +91 76971 34405

There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4, or when you choose to send, share or open something yourself.

2. Phone permissions

  • Camera: to scan QR codes, and for a website's video calls only after you allow that site.
  • Microphone: for voice search, and for a website's audio or video calls only after you allow that site.
  • Location: shared with a website only after you allow it for that site.
  • Fingerprint or face: the optional lock for incognito tabs. Android handles it, and the app never sees your fingerprint or face.

3. What stays on your phone

  • Your bookmarks, history, downloads list, offline pages and start page shortcuts.
  • Your open tabs, so they come back when you open the app again.
  • Your settings, such as the search engine, theme and Shields choices for each site.
  • Cookies and site data from the websites you visit. Incognito tabs keep none of this after you close them.

4. Outside services

  • Your search engine: if search suggestions are on, the text you type in the address bar goes to the search engine you picked, to fetch suggestions. You can turn this off in Settings.
  • DuckDuckGo icons: the small website icons on the start page and in lists come from icons.duckduckgo.com. Only the website's domain name is sent. DuckDuckGo icons privacy.
  • Google Safe Browsing: Android System WebView checks the pages you open against Google's list of unsafe sites. Google Safe Browsing privacy.

We do not sell personal data.

AN Browser has no ads, no analytics, no in-app purchases and no sign-in. It sends nothing to us.

The websites you visit receive your requests directly, as in any browser, and their own privacy policies apply.

Your bookmarks, history and settings may be part of your phone's own Android backup, which Google and your phone settings control.

5. Children

AN Browser is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it. It gives open access to the web, so it is not suitable for young children.

6. Deleting your data

  • Clear your history, cookies and other data from Settings, then Clear browsing data. You can also have it cleared each time you exit.
  • Close your last incognito tab to wipe all incognito data.
  • Uninstall AN Browser, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove everything it keeps.

For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
