Cancel Guard app

Cancel Guard privacy policy

This policy explains what the Cancel Guard app does with your data, in plain words.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the Cancel Guard app for Android (package com.cybs.cancelguard), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.

Email: info@cybsinnovations.com · Phone: +91 76971 34405

There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4, or when you choose to send, share or open something yourself.

2. Phone permissions

  • Notifications: for your charge reminders.
  • Fingerprint or face: the optional app lock in Pro. Android handles it, and the app never sees your fingerprint or face.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network on the free plan, described below.

3. What stays on your phone

  • Your trials and subscriptions: the service, price, currency, billing cycle, charge date, reminder days, notes, category, payment method label and any confirmation number.
  • Your settings, including the name and email you enter for cancel emails.
  • Which reminders have been sent, and counters that limit how often ads show.
  • Text and images you share to the app are read on your phone and not kept.

4. Outside services

  • Google ML Kit: reads the text in a screenshot or image you share, on your phone. Google Play services provides the text reader. Your images are not sent to us. Google ML Kit privacy.
  • Google AdMob: shows ads on the free plan: a banner, ad cards in the trial and guide lists, a full screen ad at some natural breaks, an ad when you come back to the app, and a video ad you can choose to watch. Full screen ads only come after you save a trial or cancel one, never in your first session, at most every second time, and at least 2 minutes apart. The ad when you come back needs 30 seconds away and comes at most once every 4 minutes. Watching a video ad you choose gives you CSV export and cancel emails for 24 hours. AdMob may use your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives a rough location), ad views and taps, and basic device and crash data to show ads, count them and stop fraud. Where the law asks for it, Cancel Guard asks for your consent with Google's consent form. You can change your answer from Privacy choices in Settings, under Privacy and security. With Pro, the ads SDK does not start. Google AdMob privacy.
  • Meta Audience Network: an ad network that can offer ads through AdMob. It receives the same kind of data as AdMob, only to show and count ads. Meta Audience Network privacy.
  • Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: count how the app is used, such as screens opened, trials added, edited or canceled, reminders acted on and guides opened. These events include which cancel guide a trial matches, such as Netflix, and its category, billing cycle and currency. They never include names, prices, notes, emails or confirmation numbers. Crashlytics sends a report if the app crashes or reading a screenshot fails. Analytics is on by default and starts only after consent where the law asks for it. You can turn both off in Settings, under Privacy and security, then Share anonymous usage and crash reports. Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics privacy.
  • Google Play Billing: handles the Cancel Guard Pro yearly subscription. Google processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. Google Play Billing privacy.

We do not sell personal data.

Cancel Guard has no account, no sign-in and no bank linking. Your trial list is not sent to us.

Cancel emails are drafts that open in your own email app, with the name, email, service, date and amount you chose. Nothing is sent until you send it.

If you email us to ask for a guide or to report one that changed, we receive what you write.

Your trials and settings may be part of your phone's own Android backup, which Google and your phone settings control.

5. Children

Cancel Guard is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

6. Deleting your data

  • Swipe a trial left in the list, or tap the trash icon on its screen, to delete it.
  • Clear the name and email for cancel emails in Settings.
  • Uninstall Cancel Guard, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove everything.
  • To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your app instance, email us.
  • To reset or delete your advertising ID, open your phone's Settings, then Google, then Ads.

For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
