DarkFlow Browser app
DarkFlow Browser privacy policy
This policy explains what the DarkFlow Browser app does with your data, in plain words.
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Who we are
This policy covers the DarkFlow Browser app for Android (package com.cybs.darkflow), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.
Email: info@cybsinnovations.com · Phone: +91 76971 34405
There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4.
2. Phone permissions
- Location: only when a website asks for your location. DarkFlow asks you first, and asks Android for the permission only if you tap Allow. Your answer is remembered for that website. Incognito tabs never share your location.
- Notifications: to show the progress of your downloads.
- Storage: on Android 10 and older only, to save downloads and screenshots.
- Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase, described below.
3. What stays on your phone
- Your browsing history: each page's address, title and time. Pages opened in incognito tabs are not added.
- Your bookmarks, Quick access sites and settings.
- The list of your downloads, the downloaded files and any screenshots you take.
- Your open tabs, so they come back when you reopen the app. This includes incognito tabs, unless you turn on closing tabs on exit.
- A log of the ad and tracker addresses the blocker stopped, used for the count on the home screen. This log is kept for incognito tabs too.
- A cache of recent search suggestions.
4. Outside services
- Google AdMob: shows ads on DarkFlow's own screens: banners, ads in lists, a full screen ad between some actions, and an ad when you come back to the app. AdMob may use your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives a rough location), ad views and taps, and basic device and crash data to show ads, count them and stop fraud. Where the law asks for it, for example in the EEA and the UK, DarkFlow asks for your consent with Google's consent form before ads are shown, and you can change your answer from Privacy options in the menu. Google AdMob privacy.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: counts how the app is used, such as app opens and which screens are viewed, with an app instance ID and basic device details. It does not receive the pages you visit. Google Analytics for Firebase privacy.
- Google search suggestions: as you type in the address bar, the text is sent to Google to show suggestions. This is off in incognito tabs.
- Search engines: your searches go to the search engine you choose. It is Google unless you change it.
- Google Translate: only when you tap Translate, the address of the page is sent to Google Translate.
- Google Safe Browsing: checks the addresses you open against Google's list of harmful sites, to warn you before a dangerous page loads.
- Instagram: only when you paste an Instagram link into the downloader, DarkFlow asks Instagram for the address of that video.
We do not sell personal data.
Websites you visit receive what any browser sends, such as your IP address and the pages you ask for. Each website's own privacy policy applies to it.
When you close DarkFlow or close all tabs, it clears website cookies, cache, website storage and saved form data. History and bookmarks stay until you delete them.
DarkFlow has no camera or microphone permission, so websites cannot use your camera or microphone through it. Voice search uses your phone's own speech service, and taking a photo to upload opens your camera app.
If Android backup is on for your phone, Android may include DarkFlow's history, bookmarks and settings in your phone's backup to your Google account.
5. Children
DarkFlow is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
6. Deleting your data
- Clear your history from Menu, then History, then Clear history.
- Delete bookmarks and downloads from their own screens.
- Uninstall DarkFlow, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove everything it keeps on your phone, including the blocker log and saved tabs.
- To reset or delete your advertising ID, open your phone's Settings, then Google, then Ads.
For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
