Plan Link privacy policy

1. Who we are

This policy covers the Plan Link app for Android (package com.cybs.planlink), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.

There is no sign-up and no account. Plan Link runs its own server, which keeps each plan and everything people add to it. You prove you made a plan with a random code that only your phone has. Guests in a browser get their own random code, kept in their browser. Anyone who has a plan's link can see that plan, so share it only with the people you invite.

2. Phone permissions

• Calendar: only if you tap Fill from my calendar. The app reads when you are busy to fill your free times. Your calendar never leaves your phone.
• Notifications: for reminders before a plan and alerts when people answer.
• Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network on the free plan, described below.

3. What stays on your phone

• Your host name, the plans you made and the codes that let you manage them.
• Your Host Pro status, and pending reminders.
• Plans you open from someone else's link keep your guest code, name and email in the app, as a browser would.

4. Outside services

• Plan Link server: keeps each plan: the host name, title, note, dates, times and places, and each guest's name, answers, RSVP, plus-ones, votes, bring list claims, chat messages and photos. A guest's email is optional and used only for invites and reminders. Everyone with the link sees names, answers, votes, messages, photos and any bill split, but never anyone's email. A plan and everything in it are deleted 90 days after its last date.
• Resend: sends the calendar invite and reminder emails to guests who left an email, with the plan's title, time, place and link. Resend privacy.
• Google AdMob: shows ads on the free plan only: an ad card on the home list, a banner on the plan screen, a full screen ad when you go back home after viewing 2 plans (at least 3 minutes apart), and an ad when you come back to the app after 30 seconds away (at least 4 minutes apart). Guests in a browser never see ads. AdMob may use your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives a rough location), ad views and taps, and basic device and crash data to show ads, count them and stop fraud. Where the law asks for it, Plan Link asks for your consent with Google's consent form. You can change your answer from Privacy on the home screen. AdMob never receives your plans. • Meta Audience Network: an ad network that can offer ads through AdMob. It receives the same kind of data as AdMob, only to show and count ads. Meta Audience Network privacy.
• Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: count how the app is used, such as plans made, locked or shared, with counts like how many days or places, but no titles, names or messages. Crashlytics sends a report if the app crashes, with the screen that was open. Analytics follows your answer in the consent form. Crashlytics does not wait for it. • Google Play Billing: handles the Host Pro subscription. To check it, our server sends your purchase token to Google. Google processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. Google Play Billing privacy.

We do not sell personal data.

Host Pro adds weekly plans, bill splitting and guest photos, and removes ads.

Our server keeps no access log. Your IP address is held in memory for a short time to stop abuse.

Add to calendar and Directions open Google Calendar or Google Maps in your browser with the plan's details.

Your plans and Host Pro status may be part of your phone's own Android backup, which Google and your phone settings control.

5. Children

Plan Link is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

6. Deleting your data

• Delete a plan from its screen: tap More, then Delete. This removes it and everything in it from our server.
• Guests can tap Remove my answer on the plan page, and delete their own chat messages.
• Plans are deleted from our server 90 days after their last date.
• To remove a photo or anything else, email us with the plan link.
• To reset or delete your advertising ID, open your phone's Settings, then Google, then Ads.

For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
