Advanced PDF Tools privacy policy

1. Who we are

This policy covers the Advanced PDF Tools app for Android (package cybs.pdftool), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.

There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4.

2. Phone permissions

The app asks for no phone permissions such as storage, camera or location.

3. What stays on your phone

• The files you make with the app, in its private storage, until you delete them in My Files.
• Copies of the files you open, kept for a short time while a tool works on them.
• Your saved signature, if you choose to save one.
• Your recent documents, pinned tools, the tools you use most, and your settings such as the theme and image quality.
• Files you save with Save, in Downloads, Advanced PDF Tools, or in the folder you choose.

4. Outside services

• Google ML Kit: the document scanner and the text reader. Google Play services downloads them once. They then run on your phone, and the scanner shows its own camera screen. Your documents and photos are not sent to Google or to us. Google ML Kit privacy.

We do not sell personal data.

The app has no ads, no analytics, no in-app purchases and no sign-in. It sends nothing to us.

It opens only the files you pick with Android's file picker or share to the app, so it needs no storage permission. The camera belongs to Google's scanner, so the app has no camera permission either.

When you tap Share, the file goes only to the app you pick, such as WhatsApp or Gmail. That app's own privacy policy then applies.

The files you make are left out of your phone's backup to your Google account. Your settings may be included.

5. Children

Advanced PDF Tools is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

6. Deleting your data

• Delete a file in My Files to remove it from the app.
• Clear temporary files from Storage in Settings.
• Delete copies you saved from the folder where you saved them.
• Uninstall Advanced PDF Tools, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove all its files and settings.

For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
