Aura Phone app

Aura Phone privacy policy

This policy explains what the Aura Phone app does with your data, in plain words.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the Aura Phone app for Android (package com.cybs.aura), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.

Email: info@cybsinnovations.com · Phone: +91 76971 34405

There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4, or when you choose to send, share or open something yourself.

2. Phone permissions

  • Default phone app: Aura Phone asks to be your default phone app, so it can show your calls, its call screen and spam warnings.
  • Phone and calls: to place calls, answer them, read your SIMs for dual SIM, and use your network's country for dialing and caller details.
  • Call history: to show Recents, Insights, spam history and widgets, and to delete calls when you ask.
  • Contacts: to show your contacts, favorites and birthdays, add new contacts and merge duplicates.
  • Voicemail: to show, play and delete voicemail that your phone already keeps.
  • Camera: only for video calls, asked when you start or answer one. Flash alerts use the camera light.
  • Notifications and alarms: for the incoming call screen, missed calls, voicemail, blocked calls, reminders and birthdays.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network, described below.

3. What stays on your phone

  • Your notes, labels and reminders for numbers, your block list and patterns, and the log of blocked calls (up to 200).
  • Your spam and not spam reports, SIM choice per number, speed dial, quick replies and settings.
  • Calling Card photos you pick, copied into the app.
  • A quick copy of your contacts and call history so the app opens fast. It is deleted if you take away the permission.
  • Whether you bought Aura Pro, and how long an ad-free pass lasts.

4. Outside services

  • Google AdMob: shows ads, never on the ringing or in-call screen. After a call of at least 10 seconds ends, a short summary card with an ad can show, unless your phone is locked or the call was to an emergency number. You can turn the summary off in Settings. The app may load that ad while the call is still going, but shows it only after you hang up. There are also ad cards in Recents and Contacts, a banner at the end of Insights, a full screen ad when you leave some settings screens (at most every second time, at least 4 minutes apart, never during a call), and a video ad you can choose to watch for 24 hours without ads. AdMob may use your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives a rough location), ad views and taps, and basic device and crash data to show ads, count them and stop fraud. Ad requests never include your numbers or contacts. Where the law asks for it, Aura Phone asks for your consent with Google's consent form. You can change your answer from Privacy and ad choices in Settings, under Ads. Google AdMob privacy.
  • Meta Audience Network: an ad network that can offer ads through AdMob. It receives the same kind of data as AdMob, only to show and count ads. Meta Audience Network privacy.
  • Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: count which screens are opened, including the call screens, and app opens and sessions. Crashlytics sends a report if the app crashes, with long numbers removed from error messages. Neither receives your numbers, contacts, notes or call history. Analytics starts when you open the app. You can turn both off in Settings, under Ads, then Send crash reports and usage stats. Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics privacy.
  • Google Play Billing: handles the one-time Aura Pro purchase that removes ads. Google processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. Google Play Billing privacy.
  • Wear OS sync: if you use the watch app, your phone sends up to 12 favorite contacts and 15 recent calls (names, numbers, call type and time) to your watch through Google Play services. The watch sends back only the number you want to call. Wear OS sync privacy.

We do not sell personal data.

Spam warnings are worked out on your phone. No number is sent to a spam lookup service.

Work and directory caller ID is on by default. If your phone has a work account, such as Google Workspace or Exchange, your phone may ask that company's directory who is calling. You can turn this off in Settings.

If you decline a call with a quick reply, your phone sends that text by SMS.

Look up on the web, WhatsApp, Message and Share open other apps with the number. Those apps' own privacy policies then apply.

Aura Phone has no account and no server of its own. It does not record calls and has no microphone recording feature of its own.

Your notes, reminders, block list, spam reports and Calling Cards may be part of your phone's own Android backup, which Google and your phone settings control. Back up Aura data in Settings saves a file you choose.

5. Children

Aura Phone is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

6. Deleting your data

  • Delete calls from Recents one at a time or many at once, or clear all call history in Settings, under Data.
  • Clear the blocked call log from Blocked numbers and patterns in Settings.
  • Clear a note by saving it empty, and remove labels, reminders or Calling Cards.
  • Uninstall Aura Phone, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove everything it keeps. Your phone's own contacts and call history stay.
  • To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your app instance, email us.
  • To reset or delete your advertising ID, open your phone's Settings, then Google, then Ads.

For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
