BG Photo Motion app

BG Photo Motion privacy policy

This policy explains what the BG Photo Motion app does with your data, in plain words.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the BG Photo Motion app for Android (package com.cybs.photomotion), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.

Email: info@cybsinnovations.com · Phone: +91 76971 34405

There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4.

2. Phone permissions

  • Storage: on Android 9 and older only, to save your videos and GIFs to the gallery. Newer phones need no permission for this.
  • Live wallpaper: only when you tap Set as live wallpaper, so Android can play your creation on the home and lock screens.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network and Google Analytics for Firebase, described below.

3. What stays on your phone

  • The photos you pick are opened only to animate them. BG Photo Motion uses Android's photo picker, so it can see only the photos you choose. To take a new photo, it opens your camera app.
  • Your projects: the motion arrows, masks and settings, so you can edit and export again.
  • Videos and GIFs you save, in the PhotoMotion folders under Movies and Pictures.
  • A copy of the video you set as a live wallpaper, so the wallpaper keeps playing.
  • Your favorites and settings.

4. Outside services

  • Google AdMob: shows ads: a native ad on the home screen and while your video is being made, banners in the editor and in My creations, a full screen ad between some steps, and an ad when you come back to the app. AdMob may use your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives a rough location), ad views and taps, and basic device and crash data to show ads, count them and stop fraud. Where the law asks for it, for example in the EEA and the UK, BG Photo Motion asks for your consent with Google's consent form before ads are shown. You can change your answer from Privacy choices on the home screen. AdMob does not receive your photos. Google AdMob privacy.
  • Meta Audience Network: an ad network that can offer ads through AdMob. It receives the same kind of data as AdMob, only to show and count ads. Meta Audience Network privacy.
  • Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: count how the app is used, such as the screens you open and when an export starts, finishes or fails. Crashlytics sends a report if the app crashes or an export fails, with the device model, Android version and free memory. Firebase uses an app instance ID and your rough location from your IP address. We use this only to improve the app and fix crashes. It never receives your photos or creations. Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics privacy.
  • Google Play In-App Review: the app may ask, through Google Play, if you would like to rate it. Google Play handles this, and we never see your Google account.

We do not sell personal data.

When you tap Share, the video goes only to the app you pick, such as WhatsApp or Instagram. That app's own privacy policy then applies.

Firebase keeps analytics data for 14 months and crash reports for 90 days, then deletes them.

If Android backup is on for your phone, Android may include the app's settings in your phone's backup to your Google account. Your photos and videos are not included.

BG Photo Motion has no in-app purchases and no sign-in.

5. Children

BG Photo Motion is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

6. Deleting your data

  • Delete a creation from My creations, or from the PhotoMotion folders in your gallery app.
  • Uninstall BG Photo Motion, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove your projects, the live wallpaper copy and your settings. Saved videos and GIFs stay in your gallery until you delete them.
  • To reset or delete your advertising ID, open your phone's Settings, then Google, then Ads.
  • To ask us to delete analytics or crash data linked to your copy of the app, email us.

For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
