Removo app
Removo privacy policy
This policy explains what the Removo app does with your data, in plain words.
Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. Who we are
This policy covers the Removo app for Android (package com.removo.app), available on Google Play. It is made by Cybs Innovations, Main Road, Near KBC Building, Champa, Chhattisgarh 495671, India.
Email: info@cybsinnovations.com · Phone: +91 76971 34405
There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run our own servers for this app. Data leaves your phone only through the outside services listed in section 4.
2. Phone permissions
- Storage: on Android 9 and older only, to save your edits to the gallery. Newer phones need no permission for this.
- Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob and its ad partners, described below.
3. What stays on your phone
- The photos you pick are opened only to make the cut-out. Removo uses Android's photo picker, so it can see only the photos you choose.
- Pictures you save, in a Removo album in your gallery.
- A private copy of each picture you save, for the Recent edits list on the home screen.
- A short list of ad settings, such as how many pictures you have saved, used to space out the ads.
4. Outside services
- Google ML Kit: the background removal model. It is downloaded once by Google Play services and then runs on your phone. Your photos are not sent to Google or to us. Google ML Kit privacy.
- Google AdMob: shows ads: an ad when you come back to the app, a full screen ad after some saves (never the first one), an ad card on the home screen and banners on the home and settings screens. There are no ads in the editor while you work. AdMob may use your phone's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives a rough location), ad views and taps, and basic device and crash data to show ads, count them and stop fraud. Where the law asks for it, for example in the EEA and the UK, Removo asks for your consent with Google's consent form before ads are shown, and you can change your answer from Ad privacy choices in Settings. AdMob does not receive your photos. Google AdMob privacy.
- Meta Audience Network: an ad network that can offer ads through AdMob. It receives the same kind of data as AdMob, only to show and count ads. Meta Audience Network privacy.
- Unity Ads: an ad network that can offer ads through AdMob. It receives the same kind of data as AdMob, only to show and count ads. Unity Ads privacy.
We do not sell personal data.
When you tap Share, the picture goes only to the app you pick, such as WhatsApp. That app's own privacy policy then applies.
Removo leaves the private copies of your edits out of Android backup, so they are not uploaded to your Google account and are removed when you uninstall the app.
Removo has no analytics, no in-app purchases and no sign-in. It sends nothing to us.
5. Children
Removo is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
6. Deleting your data
- Delete a picture from Recent edits by tapping it, then the delete button.
- Delete saved pictures from the Removo album in your gallery app.
- Uninstall Removo, or clear its storage in Android settings, to remove its private copies and settings.
- To reset or delete your advertising ID, open your phone's Settings, then Google, then Ads.
For anything else, see app help and support or email us. We reply within 7 working days.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws like it where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us or to your data protection authority. Email info@cybsinnovations.com.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we update this page and the date at the top. The privacy policy for our website is separate: website privacy policy.
