What Removo does

Removo finds the person, pet or product in your photo and cuts it out. Then you choose what goes behind it: nothing at all, a color, a gradient, a blurred copy of the original, or another photo from your gallery.

The cut-out is made on your phone by Google ML Kit, so your photos are never uploaded. Removo is free and shows ads. It has no sign-up and no account.

    Pick a photo or take one with your camera, and Removo removes the background in a few seconds.

  • New backgrounds

    Choose transparent, 12 colors, any color from the color picker, 6 gradients, a blur of the original, or your own photo.

  • Before and after

    Drag a line across the picture to compare the original with the cut-out.

  • Move and resize

    Pinch to zoom, rotate and move the subject until it sits where you want it.

  • Save in HD

    Save as PNG, which keeps a transparent background, or as JPG, to a Removo album in your gallery.

  • Share anywhere

    Send the result straight to WhatsApp, Instagram or any app on your phone.
