Inditalk child safety standards

Our rules for keeping children safe on Inditalk, and how to report a concern.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Cybs Innovations has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behaviour that sexualises or puts a child in danger. These standards apply to Inditalk (package com.wInditalk_8627451).

1. What is not allowed

You must not use Inditalk to make, share, ask for or pass on CSAM, to groom or approach a child for sexual purposes, or to exploit or harm a child in any way. This applies to everyone who uses the app, and to every chat, group, status update, call and file shared through it.

2. Who can use Inditalk

Inditalk is not made for children under 13. It is for people aged 13 and over.

3. How Inditalk works, and what that means for safety

Inditalk is an offline messenger. Phones connect straight to each other over a shared Wi-Fi network, LAN or hotspot. There are no Inditalk servers and no accounts, and every message and call is end-to-end encrypted. This means we cannot see, scan or store anyone's messages or media.

To help people stay safe, they can:

  • Block: block a contact from the chat or from their contact info. A blocked contact cannot message or call you.
  • Hide from the network: turn off Discoverable on network in Settings, then Privacy, so strangers on the same network cannot find you.
  • Delete: delete messages, chats and status updates, and turn on disappearing messages.
  • Report to us: anyone can report a concern to us, as described below.

4. How to report a concern

If you see or experience child sexual abuse or exploitation in connection with Inditalk, please report it:

  • Email us at info@cybsinnovations.com with the subject "Inditalk child safety report". Tell us what happened, when, and any Inditalk ID or name involved. Do not send us images or videos of abuse.
  • If a child is in danger right now, call your local police at once. In India, dial 112, or Childline on 1098.
  • Report it to the authorities yourself: in India, on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in. In the United States, to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. Elsewhere, to your national hotline, listed by INHOPE.

5. What we do when we get a report

  • We reply to every report and look into it quickly, and a child at risk comes first.
  • When we learn of CSAM or child exploitation, we report it to the right authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian police, as the law requires.
  • We work fully with lawful requests from the police. Because Inditalk has no servers and messages are end-to-end encrypted, we do not hold anyone's messages.
  • We follow all child safety laws that apply to us, including India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

6. Child safety contact

Our contact for child safety and CSAM matters can be reached at info@cybsinnovations.com. They can answer questions about how we prevent CSAM and how we meet the law.
