What Smart SMS does
Smart SMS takes the place of your phone's messaging app. Make it your default SMS app and it sends and receives your text and picture messages, in light or dark.
Your messages stay on your phone. A backup is a file you save to a folder you pick, never to our servers. The app is free and shows ads.
What you get
Scheduled messages
Write a text now and send it later, at the exact time you pick. Scheduled texts still go out after the phone restarts.
Block numbers
Block unwanted numbers in the app, or use a call blocking app you already have, such as Call Control.
Backup and restore
Save all your messages to a backup file in a folder you choose, and restore them on a new phone.
Dual SIM
Choose which SIM card each message goes from.
Voice messages
Record a voice message and send it as a picture message, or have a message read aloud.
Auto cleanup
Delete old messages on their own after a time you set, so your inbox stays small.
Privacy in short
- Asks for: sms and mms, contacts, phone state, phone calls, microphone, photos, videos and audio, notifications, alarms and start up.
- No sign-up, no account, and no servers of our own collecting your data.
- Outside services: Google AdMob, Your mobile network.
