What Saaf does

Saaf finds the junk that piles up in your WhatsApp media: forwarded greetings, the same photo from many groups, blurry shots and heavy videos. It reads the text on greeting images in English and Hindi, such as Good Morning and सुप्रभात.

You review every file before it goes. Cleaned files wait in Saaf's Bin for 7 days, so you can bring any of them back. Saaf never touches your chat backups, voice notes, private chats or the files you sent, and it sees only the folder you choose.

Saaf is an independent app. It is not linked to, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms.

Finds greeting cards, festival wishes and quote images by reading their text in English and Hindi, on your phone.
Duplicates
Finds the same photo or video received in many groups, and always keeps the first copy.
Blurry and large
Finds out of focus and shaky photos, videos over 16 MB, and media older than a year.
You review first
Big thumbnails, and long-press to see any image full size. Only junk is selected for you. Old media, videos and blurry photos are always your choice.
7-day undo
Cleaned files go to the Bin first. Restore any of them in one tap, or empty the Bin to free the space now.
Saaf Pro
