What Scanner does

Scanner turns your phone into a document scanner. Point the camera at a page, and Smart Scan finds the edges, takes the picture and straightens it. Save receipts, ID cards, notes and contracts as clean PDF or JPG files.

Your scans are kept on your phone, and the text reader works offline. There is no account or sign-up. Scanner is free with ads.

What you get

Smart Scan
Finds the page edges, takes the picture on its own and fixes the angle. Scan many pages in one go, or import photos from your gallery.
Text from any scan
Read the text from a scan or a photo on your phone, then copy it or share it to any app.
Sign and mark up
Draw your signature once and place it on forms. Add text, highlights, watermarks and notes.
Filters and edits
Crop, rotate, and set brightness and contrast. Choose a filter such as Color or Sharp Black for a clean copy.
ID card and book mode
Put both sides of an ID card on one printable page. Book mode splits two facing pages.
PDFs and QR codes
Protect a PDF with a password and check every page in the viewer. Scan QR codes and barcodes, or make your own.
